100% Plastic-Free Drapery Packaging

We are incredibly stoked to announce that our Drapery range has undergone a massive transformation. We’ve scrapped the old plastic wraps and replaced them with 100% plastic-free, recyclable paper packaging.

It’s the same high-quality drapery hardware you know and love, just without the unnecessary waste. Check out the before and afters below, not only is the new packaging better for the Earth, but we reckon it looks heaps better on the shelf too!

The Eco Living Range: Paper-First, Always

While the Drapery update is a big milestone, many of you might not realise that nearly everything in our Eco Living Range is already housed in paper or cardboard.

We’ve prioritised natural materials for years, ensuring that when you’re out in the garden, you aren’t introducing more microplastics into the soil. Some of our fan-favourites include:

The Power of the Coconut

You might have noticed that many of our most popular garden products have a distinct, earthy look. That’s because we’ve leaned heavily into using coconut coir, the natural fibre extracted from the outer husk of coconuts.

Not only is coir a renewable byproduct, but it’s also a powerhouse for the garden. It’s durable, pH neutral, and completely biodegradable. We use it across the range in products like our Mini Joinable Coco Stakes and liners to ensure that when your gardening gear reaches the end of its life, it returns to the earth rather than sitting in a landfill.

Innovation with Corn-Based Polymers

We’re also looking at ways to replace traditional plastics with clever plant-based alternatives. Our Eco Plant Ties and Eco Weed Mat are prime examples of this innovation.

Instead of using petroleum-based plastics, these products are made from vegetable extracts (specifically, sugars from plants like corn and tapioca) that are fermented and spun into a durable, non-toxic fabric.

• Eco Plant Tie: Stretches naturally with your plant’s growth and eventually decomposes, returning nutrients to your garden.
• Eco Weed Mat: Suppresses weeds and retains moisture just like traditional mats, but starts to biodegrade in 2–3 years, leaving no nasty microplastics behind.
