Step 1: Unboxing and Prepping
Start by unpacking your Pillar Roller Blinds. Inside, you’ll find everything you need, including the blind, brackets, a child-safe tensioner, and an easy-to-follow instruction manual.

Take a moment to read through the instructions. As we learned, having a “can-do” attitude is great, but knowing exactly where your brackets need to go makes the job much smoother!

Step 2: Install the Brackets (and Call in Backup if Needed!)
Using a drill, secure the provided brackets to the top corners of your window frame or architrave.

DIY Tip: Don’t be afraid to tag in a partner for this part! Reaching the top of the window frame can be tricky, and having a second pair of hands to drill the brackets in safely (without falling off the couch!) is a game-changer.

Step 3: Mount the Roller Blind
Once your brackets are securely in place, it’s time for the satisfying part. Lift your Bliss Roller Blind and click it into the brackets.

The slimline 28mm tube design makes it lightweight and easy to handle.

Step 4: Secure the Child-Safety Device

Safety comes first! Unwind the chain and use your drill to secure the clear child-safe tension device to the inside of your window frame.

This ensures the chain remains taut and out of the way, providing peace of mind for homes with little ones or pets.

Step 5: Test and Admire

Give the chain a pull to test the smooth rolling action. Pull the blind all the way down to enjoy the instant room-darkening effect of the blockout fabric.

Add your curtains back to the rod for a beautifully layered look, step back, and admire your handy work!
